Burning River Training Runs

2019 Familiarization Runs for the Burning River 100, 50-mile and Relay

The sections of the race will be run loosely based on the 8-person relay legs.

These are self-aided runs, so please bring water and any fuel you might need. Many of the areas of the parks do not have drinking water available so please plan accordingly. We will run together as a group. In the event there are others who know the course, we may split into smaller groups based on pace and reassemble at critical trail intersections.

Sunday Mornings and Wednesday Evenings

We meet at the END point of the run, carpool to our starting point for the run and travel the course in the direction you will run it on race day.

Wednesday Evenings
We meet at the STARTING point and run out and back as these are shorter segments. In some cases we may take a more direct route back to the start. Mileage listed is for round trip. If you’d like to run only one way (50% mileage), please arrange your own carpool or pickup.
