what to expect
-
Our events take place on scenic Northeast Ohio trail systems, including the Cuyahoga Valley, Buckeye Trail, Ohio State Parks, and similar terrain. Courses feature a mix of well-marked singletrack and doubletrack, offering an engaging experience whether you’re running, walking, or a combination of both.
-
Our cutoff times are designed with endurance in mind, rather than being based solely on fast running paces. This gives hikers and run/walk participants a realistic opportunity to complete their chosen distance without feeling rushed.
-
Our courses feature well-stocked aid stations at regular intervals, providing hydration, nutrition, and support for participants spending more time out on the course.
-
We strive to create a welcoming, low-pressure environment for everyone. Our events are about enjoying the trails, challenging yourself, and reaching the finish line — whether you’re running, walking, or doing both.
-
Our events are more than a starting line and finish line—we’re proud to partner with local organizations that help protect, maintain, and support the trails and communities where we host our events. Through partnerships with organizations including Burr Oak Alive, Buckeye Trail Association, Summit Metro Parks Foundation, Conservancy for the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Guernsey County Sheriff’s Mounted Search and Rescue, Cleveland Metroparks, Camp Manatoc, and Boston Township, your participation helps give back to the places we’re fortunate enough to explore. When you hike with us, you’re not just enjoying the trails—you’re helping support them, too.
-
Finisher recognition is based on completing the event. All participants receive a finisher medal at completion of the event.
-
We offer a variety of distances, from shorter events to half marathons and beyond. This allows you to choose a distance that fits your experience and conditioning without needing a traditional running background.

HIKE EVERY TRAIL IN CUYAHOGA VALLEY NATIONAL PARK!
december-june
If you take on Full On CVNP you will have six months to hike, run, and explore every trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP). This can be done virtually or in person. We will provide the maps, the ability to log your progress, and route guides. The guides will provide you history, folklore, trivia, and other information to help you enjoy our favorite trail routes as much as we do! The routes are between three and seven miles in length. Log and track your progress on your activity timeline which includes a progress bar. As you log your progress, you will receive milestone badges to celebrate your accomplishment.
