THE DIRTY TRAIL SERIES

The Dirty Trail Race Series, presented by Salomon, is a short trail race series in Northeast Ohio. The Series features races across the region from Wooster to Kirtland and Rocky River to Peninsula with distances from 4 to 13.1 miles.

Get Down & Dirty – You asked and we made it happen.  On Friday, June 12th join us at Pine Hollow for a 5M evening romp in the woods followed by a party at Par 3 BrandyWine Bar!  Swag is a pint glass which we will be happy to fill after the race.

ENDURANCE RACES

Saturday, March 7th
Point to point on the paved multipurpose path from Scenic Park Marina in Rocky River Reservation to Oak Grove in Brecksville Reservation.
Sunday, March 29th
Choose one or two loops of the beautiful and challenging trail course at Pine Hollow in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Saturday, June 6th
Buckeye Buster boasts a permanently marked 10.4 mile loop course with rolling hills within Salt Fork State Park, including hiking and bridle            trails.
Saturday, July 25th – Sunday, July 26th
An exciting 100 and 50 mile solo run and 100 mile relay held in Northeast Ohio.  The race travels through several of the region’s most scenic areas including the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the Cleveland Metroparks and the Summit Metroparks.
Saturday, November 7th
A single loop course around the scenic lake entirely within Burr Oak State Park, including hiking and bridle trails as well as portions of the Buckeye Trail.
Saturday, December 5th  The winter version of Buckeye Buster! Can you beat your summer Salt Fork time in the December snow?
ROAD RACES

Frosty 5 and Mistletoe Mile Sponsored by Cleveland Clinic
Thursday, December 24
Escape from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season by donning the ugly sweater your Aunt Marge knitted for you last year and running Western Reserve Racing’s 3rd annual Frosty 5 Mile or Mistletoe Mile Fun Run.  This race benefits JDRF and the Akron Canton Food Bank.
Sunday, March 22
Western Reserve Racing and The Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park invite you to BEAT THE TRAIN! at the 2015 Great Spring TRAINing Race. Can you hear the whistle blowing?
Saturday, May 9
A sweet (literally) way to show your support for the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Pick your distance for this out and back course on the Historic Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail then join your fellow runners for a delicious all you can eat pancake breakfast at Stanford House.

Sunday, August 9th
Take me out to the 5k! Take me out to the crowd…….
Run the streets of downtown Akron on game day and finish at the newly renovated Canal Park.  Drinks and game tickets included!
