COVID-19 Race Guidelines

COVID-19 GUIDELINES – PARTICIPANTS

  • During registration, you will be asked to pick a start time.  We will have staggered starts to reduce the amount of people at the start line at a given time.
  • We prefer you to pick up your bib and swag at Vertical Runner Hudson or Brecksville the week prior to the race date (Saturday-Friday) during Store Hours.  We will have limited race day packet pickup.
  • Maintain social distance from others when not running.
  • Please do not congregate at the start line or race day packet pickup.
  • We ask you to remain in/by your car until within 15 minutes of your assigned start time.  We will call your start group to the start line when we are ready for you.
  • Wear a mask if social distance cannot be maintained and not actively running.
  • We encourage you to carry your own water.  We will have an aid station(s). See the race page for more information on what will be provided at each aid station. You must take whatever is provided “to go”.  No standing at the aid station without a mask on.
  • After you finish, please do not congregate at the finish line.
  • Awards will be shipped to the address you provided during registration.
  • Please conduct symptom checks every day the week of the race.  We ask that you please do NOT come to the race if you are not feeling well.  Health Screening Questions

COVID-19 GUIDELINES – VOLUNTEERS

  • Practice social distancing when possible.
  • Face coverings (masks) should be worn by aid station volunteers at all times and by other volunteers in situations where social distance cannot be maintained.
  • Sanitizing spray will be provided and used with paper towels at aid stations to clean all tables and fluid containers at least every hour (and as often as desired).
  • Hand sanitizer will be provided at aid stations for volunteers and runners.
  • Volunteers should avoid switching tasks when possible to reduce cross contamination concerns. Increase sanitization and handwashing if changing tasks is necessary.
  • Please conduct symptom checks every day the week of the race.  We ask that you please do NOT come to the race if you are not feeling well.  Health Screening Questions
