My Race Was Cancelled – What Do I Do Now?

If we have to cancel a race, you will be notified and given a credit/deferral to use towards any of our races until December 31st, 2021.  To claim your deferral, follow these steps:

  • Login to your RunSignup Account.
  • Go to Deferrals.
  • You should see the race(s) that have been cancelled are now showing up as being able to be deferred.
  • Select the race you want to defer and then select “Complete Deferral.”
  • At the next screen, you will be requested to select “Complete Deferral” at the top of the page as an additional confirmation step.
  • Select the race you want to register for/participate in. If the race you want is not available:
    • Please confirm registration is open for that race. You cannot defer to a race until registration is open for that race.
    • Please confirm you are trying to defer to one of our races!
  • At the end of the registration, your cart will show the amount you have been credited.
    • If there is a balance, pay the difference and you are in.
    • If you have MORE credit than the race fee, the race will not cost you any additional monies.
    • IMPORTANT: The registration platform does NOT have the ability to credit you the difference if you select a race that has lower value than your credit. We suggest picking a race that is close, equal, or higher value so you can utilize as much or all of the monies you have available.
